6 Ways to Pray for The Raining Season this Week

The Raining Season

March 7th marks 2025’s World Day of Prayer.  We know that the Lord has been good to us.  He has provided, protected, and blessed us.  We also know that we serve a BIG God. We are thankful for the many answered prayers in the last fifteen years. As we prepare to recognize World Day of Prayer this Friday, can you commit to praying daily for The Raining Season this week?  We have six specific ways you can pray with us.

For Self-Discipline and Respect

Pray for our children to be kind, patient, and respectful to others. Guide their hearts to choose good thoughts and actions, even when they feel upset or frustrated. Help them to listen well, show love, and make wise choices each day. May they always remember to treat others the way they would like to be treated, and may their hearts be full of joy and peace.  (Philippians 4:8)

Upcoming School Activities

Our children have several special activities coming up at school, including sports day and our Thanksgiving service.  Please pray for the Lord’s guidance and blessings over all upcoming school activities. May they bring joy, growth, and unity to the students and staff. May His wisdom shine through each event, strengthening our community.  (Matthew 5:16)

TRS Staff & Their Families

Lift up our staff and their families in prayer.  We pray they are blessed with peace, patience, and strength as they work together in His service. May they experience the love and support of Christ in all they do, nurturing a compassionate and encouraging environment.  (Colossians 3:15-17)

Upcoming Baptisms

Some of our children are preparing to be baptized. Thank you, Lord, for the gift of baptism and the opportunity for these children to profess their faith in Christ.  Pray for the children being baptized to feel the Lord’s presence deeply and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Help them grow in faith and walk closely with Him, always seeking to honor Him in their lives.  Pray that all the children have deep-rooted relationships with Jesus.  May they feel His love in their hearts and be inspired to live righteously, reflecting His light in all they do.  (Colossians 2:6-7)

Kono Land Project

As we continue to dream and plan for our land project in Kono, we pray for His blessing on the project.  May it be a source of growth, prosperity, and positive change for all involved. Guide those working on it and provide the resources needed to see it through for His glory.  (Jeremiah 32:17)

Health of the Children

Finally, we pray for the health and well-being of all the children. Protect them from illness, strengthen their bodies, and grant them good health. May they feel the Lord’s healing touch and grow strong in both body and spirit.  Please pray specifically for our children who are medically fragile. (Psalm 139:14)

Thank you for joining us in praying this week and on World Day of Prayer.  Our prayers may be bold at times, but it is because we know that we serve a powerful God.  We honor Him each step of the way.  The stories of redemption are His.

Many blessings,

The Raining Season
